Along with her Pilates certifications, Teresa is also a Reiki Master, and is trained in Tapas Acupressure Technique and BodyTalk System. Teresa works with athletes, dancers, people with injuries and people with fitness goals. Teresa has experience teaching in corporations like NetApp and Sun Microsystem, private studios, high schools, and community centers. In addition, she choreographs for different dance groups around the Bay Area.

Teresa uses SmartSpine products to enhance a client’s workout when appropriate. The SmartSpine System, created by Marie Jose, includes several support pieces designed to help the body find its most productive positioning. By supporting the skeletal and joint system in alignment, the human body can be retrained to recruit the deep muscles while releasing the overactive muscles. Warmed or chilled to cater to a client’s needs, these products can help ease the biomechanical challenges of the spine during simple core exercises and also teach the body to recruit the use of deep abdominals.
